The most difficult problem in delegate lodging is that most hotels in Vung Tau are of two ore three-star standard, but the delegation demands are of higher quality. The organizers had working cessions with hospitality managers to inspect the material conditions, food hygiene, transportation, reservations. It is informed by the organizers that Cap Saint Jacques and DIC hotels are nearly fully booked by the participants.
Along with the lodging for the participants in the tournament, the subcommittees have planed to details the delegation welcome such as security, traffic, food hygiene, have coordinated with Tan Son Nhat Airport and the Immigration Bureau to issue visas for participants, have set up volunteer groups. In company with that, the Vung Tau Sports Stadium, where the opening, awarding and closing ceremony are taking place, has already refurbished. It is also the place where the cultural and art exchange Night is holding.
It is planed that the World Youth Chess Championship opening ceremony will be held on October 19th and the closing ceremony on October 31st . They will be broadcasted live on National televisions. The organizers said that the province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau try the best to succeed in holding the event because it is the good occasion to present and broadcast Vietnamese country and people, the National economic, cultural and social potentialities abroad, the occasion to broadcast the region as the most preferable investment and destination place in Asia, the destination of friendship, hospitality and safety.
